Packed with more than 20,680 live-played acoustic drum loops, this collection captures the driving rhythms, tight four-on-the-floor grooves, crisp hi-hats, open-hat accents, snappy backbeats, dynamic fills and infectious movement that defined the golden era of disco.
At the heart of the collection are three different acoustic drum kits, recorded to provide a broad range of authentic retro drum sounds. Each kit brings its own character and tonal identity to the collection, giving you plenty of variety when building complete drum arrangements or searching for the perfect groove for your production. From tight and controlled rhythms to bigger, more open and energetic performances, the three drum kits cover a wide spectrum of vintage-inspired disco sounds. This makes it easy to move between clean, punchy dancefloor grooves, warm and organic 70s rhythms and more powerful live drum performances without leaving the collection.
Every performance was played live by a real drummer, preserving the natural dynamics, timing and interaction that give acoustic drums their unmistakable feel. Subtle variations in velocity, accents, hi-hat articulation, ghost notes and fills create natural movement and groove that programmed drums simply cannot reproduce. The Structure
Each BPM folder contains a wide variety of grooves and fills, giving you everything you need to create anything from a single drum part to a complete song arrangement.
Every performance includes a mixed stereo drum loop, premixed drum groups, as well as the individual dry multitrack recordings. This gives you complete control over every aspect of the drum sound while also providing ready-to-use mixes whenever you want to work fast.
Depending on the performance, the individual multitrack recordings include:

Loops from the same performance are designed to work seamlessly together, allowing grooves and fills to be combined effortlessly into complete drum arrangements. You can also mix and match loops from different performances and drum kits to create entirely new combinations, grooves and rhythmic variations.
With tempo information included for every loop, everything can be quickly synchronized with your project, allowing you to focus on arranging, producing and mixing rather than technical setup.
